These quick and easy to make cookies are loved by kids and are a favorite around Halloween time but taste just as great all year round.
You don’t need to possess supernatural culinary skills to whip up these little tasty treats and kids love helping out (if only to eat the marshmallows and condensed milk).
All the ingredients are cheap and you can have your first batch ready to go in under 20 minutes so why not give them a try.
Ingredients:
- 1 tin of condensed milk (388g)
- 115g unsalted butter
- 4 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 250g Cornflakes
for the eyes:
- mini marshmallows and food coloring
How Many/How Long
Makes approximately 25 chewy monsters and takes around 20 minutes to prepare.
Method:
- Melt the butter in the microwave for approx. 90 seconds.
- Mix in the condensed milk and warm again for another 90 seconds.
- Add the cocoa powder. You can add more if you want a darker cookie.
- Pour the mixture into the bowl of cornflakes and mix thoroughly.
- Divide up the mixture and spoon into paper cup cake holders.
- Add the mini marshmallows for eyes and use some food coloring to make the pupils (using a toothpick)
- Put the finished cookies in the fridge for an hour or so to set.
